St. Anne’s Convent School is founded in the year 1970 by late Rev. Monsignor Jacob Vadakeveetil, then Apostolic Administrator of the Diocese of Balasore. Sr. Margaret Mery was the spear head of the institution that battled against all odds to set up the institution. The school is administered by the Sisters of the Congregation of the Sisters St. Anne of Bangaluru.

The school began with very few pupils. Today the Alma – mater flaunts of having more than 1500 students and today it is regarded as the premier institution of Baripada providing quality education to the children of this locality. Affiliated to the council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations New Delhi (ICSE Board: OR007) prepares its students for the ICSE Examination at X level.

Since its inception, the academy proudly promulgates the axiom “mission with a vision.”
